Eliza Doolittle!
Eliza Doolittle’s debut single, Skinny Genes is out NOW! You can get it from the iTunes site.
It was her birthday yesterday, and she performed on GMTV and Channel 5.
I’m interviewing her next Saturday. Slightly nervous, stupidly excited.
Support her, she’s amazing.

Lightspeed Champion. Madame Van Damme
I love Dev Hynes. He’s underrated. Go buy his new album: Life Is Sweet, Nice To Meet You! It’s rather good. Anyway, here’s the video to Madame Van Damme.

The XX.
The XX were my favourite band of 2009. I remember hearing their cover of Hot Like Fire by Aaliyah but not knowing who they were, for some odd reason, I just didn’t take note of their name. Then I heard Basic Space, Crystalised etc. The album came out and I fell in love. Utter love. The album amazed me. I was just left in awe. Everything about their debut album is just stunning. But like most people have said, it is the way Romy and Oliver’s voices compliament each others.
This is shown at a recent wee gig they did for Vans in America. It’s shot in black and white which makes it so beautiful.
Enjoy.
Infinity. (Favourite song)
Shelter. (Second favourite!)

The Dead Weather.
I think they pretty much define “supergroup.” I adore Alison Mosshart a hell of a lot. She’s the best frontwoman around right now (Florence doesn’t count…shush!)
Die By Drop is taken from the new album which is out NEXT MONTH!

Florence Does A Gorgeous Cover.
Flo recently covered I Don’t Wanna Know by Mario Winans for Billboard. You can hear hurt/pain/sadness in this version. It’s so beautiful. So so beautiful.

Apart from having an amazing band name, Peggy Sue are, straight up, brilliant. You need them in your life. Seriously.
They are doing a tour in May which I advise you go to. They will leave you covered in goosebumps and your mind will be blown. It’s passionate, raw and stunning.
