IN THE OPENING SHOT YOU CAN SEE A NENEH CHERRY TAPE!!!!! I was in love with her when I was about 5 years old. It was pure love, it still is. One of the best artists EVER. Highly original, totally underrated.

I love Dev Hynes a lot. From Test Icicles to his Team Perfect project with Florence to Blood Orange. The guy is a fucking hero. He is a genius, you cannot deny that. His latest project, Blood Orange (Coastal Grooves is a highlight of the year for me) makes you feel like you are in New York in the 80s. The video to this song by Friends makes you feel EXACTLY the same. If I’m not mistaken, the band are from Brooklyn. Basically, they HAVE to be your new favourite band.

The vocals are perfect, the video is amazing, the song is stunning. It’s just a glorious piece of music.
