Florence + The Machine-Oh Darling.
One word-BEAUTIFUL.

Anyone who has seen Florence + The Machine live knows what the best part of Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up) is. It is undeniable that Isabelle Summers’ AMAZING 90s PIANO SOLO before the final chorus is the highlight of it. It’s just ridiculous. Have you ever seen +1000 people go nuts over a solo like that? Okay, you probably have..but this. This is different. The numbest human being would feel alive being in the presence of this.
So, with this…I think Florence should re-record Rabbit Heart and have the piano solo in it. It has to be done. It just has to.
This is taken from the gig I was at…the live clip doesn’t do it justice but whoever recorded it did an excellent job.

I could probably write an essay on this, but I won’t. Just watch the video and you’ll see what I mean!

I’m not a fan of remixes, but when two bands/singers I love do something togther- then I do make an exception.
The xx have remixed Florence’s cover of You(‘ve) Got The Love..which is also her next single. RELEASE HOWL, HURRICANE DRUNK AND COSMIC LOVE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FLORENCE! THANKING YOU!
Anyway, the remix is beautiful and just well..I love it and I don’t really like remixes (I’m aware I’m being SLIGHTLY biased because I am in love with Florence and The xx but shusssssh..it’s a good remix!)
The xx VS Florence + The Machine.
Don’t forget…..The xx are on Jools Holland tonight at 10pm. BBC2.
I could write so many words telling you why this song is amazing. Butt, ou probably already know that. Seeing this song live..it sort of takes you over in a way. It’s so dark and epic, you just lose yourself in it. The clip I’ve put here is not the best quality but it’s the only one I could frind from last Sunday’s gig in Birmingham that I was at. The best part is the beining when Flo sings Fever Ray’s If I Had A Heart (she needs to do a full version of that song!) and the end, where the whole band just put everything into the last minute of the song. Personally? I loved Florence taking one of what looks like the stage lights and holding it to the crowd. Wonderful. It’s an experience you all need to encounter. Like a rite of passage or some shit. You just have to do it. She played Blinding right after Cosmic Love. I swear a bit of me died there and then.
Again, the quality is not that great but it’s all I could find. Hopefully you’ll be able to see the bit with the light :
