No idea where to start with a band like Noothgrush. They’ve been going since 1994 and have been making incredible, brutal music since.

The band currently consist of Russ Kent, Gary Niederhoff and Chiyo Nukaga. I love them for their vicious and unapologetic menacing sound. It isn’t for the faint hearted at all. There’s so much tension in Gary’s voice, it’s so fucking powerful. I don’t advise you to scream along though, you could harm yourself. Actually, fuck it; it’s worth it. Scream along. See if you can go louder than him. I bet you won’t.

Noothgrush are THE greatest band that are part of the Sludge genre. They just have everything you could possibly want in a band. Go listen to their records, you may learn something.
